Design and features

The Magnite SUV is based on a durable and proven platform. It is already on sale in select global markets, including India.

The design of Magnite is sleek and elegant, as it features a muscular outlook and an upright stance.

The front fascia is embraced by a big grille and LED headlights with a wraparound design, along with the bumper gets the vertical L-shaped DRLs.

On the side profile, it gets the option of 16-inch steel or alloy wheels, depending on the variant opted for.

Engine, specs, and mileage

Powering the Magnite compact SUV is a tried and tested 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine, which is mated to a CVT automatic gearbox. 

While this engine might look puny on paper, it produces 100 PS and 152 Nm of peak power and torque figures, respectively. 

Moreover, it can easily reach up to a top speed of 160 km/h. The claimed fuel economy of the new Nissan Magnite is 17.3 km/l.

In terms of hardware, it is equipped with front ventilated disc brakes and rear drum brakes. The suspension of the Magnite SUV is tuned for city comfort as well as stable high-speed performance.
